Dear Hawaii RPCVs,

Our local RPCVHI group has recently reorganized its Board of Directors, and we are planning several new activities for 2009. We need your Help!

For those who participated in our 2008 events, we thank you for attending. The fundraisers and socials have been was well attended and a great opportunity to reconnect with old friends and meet new RPCVs.

We are still actively trying to reconnect to RPCVs living in Hawaii through our local RPCV group. Currently, our primarily database maintains more than 900 Hawaiian resident RPCVs and our email list maintains nearly 300 local RPCV contacts. Since 1961 more than 1274 Hawaiian residents have served in the Peace Corps with more than 35 currently serving.

We would like to take the opportunity to invite you to create a membership and would like to request your continued support. As a member of RPCVHI, you will join our RPCV network, and receive messages announcing special events and upcoming community volunteer and social activities throughout the year. We also will be sending email message of upcoming planned events through our email group.

Annual local dues are only $20, please make personal checks payable to RPCVHI and enclose to our contact address below. If you currently are a National Peace Corps Association member please remember to select the RPCV Hawaii group as your local membership as we benefit and receive a portion of dues submitted to the National group.

Our membership form can be downloaded or you can join online with a credit card using our secure PayPal account.
