Rotary
Rotaract provides an opportunity for young men and women to enhance the knowledge and skills that will assist them in personal development, to address the physical and social needs of their communities, and to promote better relations between all people worldwide through a framework of friendship and service.

The Peace Corps is an independent agency and volunteer program run by the United States Government providing international social and economic development assistance.

About Alan Kusunoki
Alan Kusunoki is a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer who served as an engineer in Afghanistan (1970-72). Alan has also been an active member of the Rotary Club of Hilo since 1993.
About Yi-Yu Lai
Yi-Yu Lai is the Rotaract Vice President and an Anthropology PhD student at UH Mānoa. He was also a Rotary global grant scholar 2019-2020. Focusing on issues of political violence and Indigenous politics, he has participated in countless academic, voluntary, and cultural exchanging projects in Taiwan, Hawai'i, and the Philippines.
About Naomi Masuno
Naomi Masuno is the Rotary D5000 District Governor. She has been an active member of the Rotary Club of West Honolulu since 2002. She served as East Honolulu Club President 2006-2007, District Awards Chair 2008-2014, District Secretary 2014-2015, District Treasurer 2016-2018, as well as serving on numerous District Committees.
About Kimberly Matutina
Kimberly Matutina is the President of the Rotaract Club at UH Mānoa and a member of Rotary Club of Honolulu Sunset. She is excited to connect a community of like-minded individuals who have a passion for service and creating long-lasting change in the world through Rotary and Peace Corps.
About Stephanie Sang
Stephanie Sang is the Peace Corps recruiter at UH Mānoa. She served as an education volunteer in the southeastern coast of Madagascar from 2016-2018. She looks forward to connecting students to service and scholarship opportunities with the Peace Corps.
